I keep flicking from liking the pose, to finding the hiar over the shoulder has made if feel like he head has seperated from the body Also I think the highlights need controlling a bit better on the face & arm ?

you are right, you answered exactly whats wrong.
The hair over the shoulder does make it look a little weird.
and the highlights on face and arms, also the background light just a little higher so we can see a little more outline in the hair


BTW The color versions of this girl are GREAT. (at least the ones you and hoffy have posted)

I'm the same, don't like that hair going over the shoulder. Other than that the pose works fine.... well for me anyway but can't say too much as I am a happily married man LOL
