Down In The Woods Today

Taken 9th Nov in Sherwood Forest. If it looks dark, that's because it was dark. I should be pleased if someone would identify this for me. Crits appreciated.

Could be Lactarius rufus, the Rufous Milk Cap except it likes pine (and acidic soil) - unless that's a pine tree it's on!

Think this'd benefit from the use of a reflector to light the underside a touch as, in the bright sun, it's all a little too contrasty, nicely isolated from the background tho it is
