Really like this! The processing is really nice, can't really tell what you've done to it but the sky certainly does look good.

Nice work Mike, it has bags of atmosphere. Horizon is also straight

Re: Eastbourne Pier, part deux
Agree that it looks much better straightened out even if it has lost the bottom sliver of groyne along the base. I'd also be tempted to crop a slice off the top - think the proportions would work better

Re: Eastbourne Pier, part deux, MkIII
Apologies for boring everyone again but here's the 3rd (and final
) installment![]() These border thingymewhatsits do make quite a difference to the overall presentation. Shame I'm rubbish at them and thus they take forever ![]() ![]() Thanks to everyone for their input in what has been quite a useful learning exercise for me. Re: Eastbourne Pier, part deux
Like the crop! Less so the border/titling which looks over-complicated and detracts

That crop works really well Mike, but I agree with Mark that the border is a bit too heavy for the shot.

Re: Eastbourne Pier, part deux
I like the final version for the crop and the other one for the border. Put that border back and I think you're on a winner there Mike, great treatment with bags of atmosphere. Well done.
