Another way of looking at this is that the haze is part of the scene, and as such, you have captured it 'as was'. It is not unusual to get some sort of haze in various situations, whether it is caused by pollution, altitude or weather conditions.
I don't think this image has been spoilt by the haze. The FG elements are well composed and the figure adds scale. There is a good lead through the picture and if anything, the haze adds to the sense of depth. There might be room to tweak the contrast a bit, but you ought to be pleased with this one.

Nope, sorry roger, you're wrong.... this is a really good landscape and the haze hasn't spoilt it at all

I am actually pleased with this, just not with much else taken on Sunday. The first step from where my friend Clive was standing is about 2000 ft. Not sure if I could have stood there myself Roger |

I like it, The pollution in the BG doesn't bother me but you can remove the Haze in the FG. try this How to remove Digital Haze |
