Fetish night

Done this at a night club for the owners, lighting was very hard with all the different spots lights going off and there was alot of people about, but im pleased with the results. David

Yes, shots like this are incredibly difficult because of the lighting. In this case, the whole image points to the bright light upper left. The eye travels to the brightest subject first, and in addition there is a straight line from the girl lower right to that light. Finally, the left half of the image is pretty well lit, and the right half isn't.

I assume that this is a production number and the focus is on the production, not any one person or thing, but that doesn't exactly come off here.

Perhaps you have other shots of this number where there isn't someone blowing fire or holding a stick of fire, I can't tell which! Also the image is a bit tilted down to the left.

While we are all happy as heck to get any images at all from a performance, they are incredibly difficult to do well.

Hi Skip, thanks for the comment, it was the hardest thing ive done so far, Yes it was a production number and it was very fast and furious. there was spot lights going all over smoke and other lights everywhere, wasn't sure if i would get any shots at all,
ive got alot more pic's but can only put one up at a time, i will put another one up 2 moro.

put a couple up in sharing David........... great pic tho.... question. do u shoot in RAW?

oh the pic p[ossibly needs tilting slightly as looking at the back bars it looks like its running off to one side.

Why do you ask about RAW? Doesn't everyone shoot in RAW?

lolol @ raw comment

im wondering about the lighting and if it has been shot in raw perhaps going back to look at the processing again would improve the imbalance.

i always shoot in raw, apart from sports and that is in high j-peg, just put sme more up on photo sharing.

i too shoot in raw unless for (as ftmftm mentions ) sports cars all planes taking off as raw take to long on processing .
