Never tried this before, not a particularly great or extra clear night, but I thought I would have a pop at taking a shot of the moon.

This has been cropped about 50%, shot with the 300mm F4L is Lens

I added the blue colour with the saying "Once in a blue moon" in mind, lol

Tried it with my 300mm sigma (pictures in my gallery), mine didn't even come close to that. Will retry when i get a x2 converter.

I like that. Nice and sharp and I prefer moon shots that aren't of a full moon, so you can see the relief of the craters. The colour actually looks more natural to me.
