In general I am not a fan of b&w pictures I like this one. The exposure looks well controlled with the whites not being burnt out and some detail in the dark blacks. All in all well done

As stated a wonderful conversion to keep all those subtle tones. Composition works for me aswell

I'd echo what has been said. I'm not usually one for mono shots of flowers, but this is one of those shots where mono and flower works very well.

The good composition and processing makes the shot - nicely done

I really love this, absolutely beautiful. This is why I advocate mono flowers in the right situations. Great exposure control, and good composition and lighting. Probably one of the best first posts we've had

Yup, nicely handled here. I must admit I still think the white and yellow of the coloured version would be my preference as I am not a big fan of mono florals but this certainly works well enough because of the natural flow of lines on the petal and the texture of the central stem.

Like this very much, I'm not normally a fan of mono floral shots, but this works for me as there are enough details and textures to look at. I like the placement in the frame as well.
