Has a certain abstract quality - which I might be tempted to emphasise a little by a B/W treatment

I had thought about that, but wanted to leave what little color was in there with the leaves-pods or what ever was bringing color to the picture. I thought that drew the eye around the picture. Wrong?

think i might agree about the B+W, you could if you really wanted do some selective colouring with the leaves etc but maybe a strong BW contrast might work.

I don't think that there's sufficiently interesting coloured items - now if they were a few autumnal leaves, I'd agree
