Frog

Can you guys tell me how I can improve this picture. This is the only angle I could get without him taking a hike. I also blurred it just a tad around the frog as you can see, does it work or not? I"m afraid photoshop is becoming a tad addicting. My eyes hurt and I just can't seem to get up, and step away from the puter, lol.

Thanks,

Jewel.

What does the original look like?

The blurring doesn't working for me as it does look artificial.

Nice shot none the less though!

Nice shot, great colours, the only thing I can say is that it appears the shot is a little too light but this could be as Im viewing on my laptop.

Here is what it looked like before I dinked around with it in photoshop. Pretty boring shot I think. I had posted this pic in another forum and everyone had the same comments. It was overexposed and the blurring effect didn't jive. Now that I look back at it, it does look kind of artificial. thanks for the comments.

The blurring is too hard-edged. Try doing it with a circular (well, elliptical) gradient fill on a masking layer.

Ah, I see now. I think it might work better if you blurred the water line rather than around just the frog.

That's probably what looks wrong.
