Am I right in assuming these where shot in Cologne? I quite like the angle of the first but suspect it has suffered from the .jpg and size compression. The pictures of the ICE bring back many memories for me, I have travelled on them many, many times. Your third shot appears to be more of a snap of somewhere you had been or where going, some offices, cafe or company maybe? AS a photograph it does not appeal though, sorry :? The shot out of the plane window could have its haze cleaned up by duplicating a new layer and adding a saturated gradient from the top down then blending that with the original layer.

Yes I think too the first one is Köln (Cologne) or at least looks like. Amazing churchs there.

Thanks guys. The first shot is indeed Cologne cathedral, and it looks better at full size. I quite liked #3 - yes, it's the offices of the firm I was visiting. I'll have another go at the aerial photo - but you wouldn't believe what it looked like before it was cleaned up!
