At The Gym

This is my second attempt at a series of gymnasium (the sport thing, not the school) shots. They are devilishly difficult because of the backgrounds, lighting, etc.

I am presenting this because I like it!

As always, c and c welcome. I particularly want you to tell us what you feel emotionally about this image. Oh, and techie stuff is good too

I just deleted my feelings about the image and why I like it because of Rob. I didn't want to sully the comments!

I was drawn up her arm to her lips,,

then the background, which made me think of an X-ray machine, then to her flexing muscle on her shoulder and back to her lips

is that what you wanted to hear.

kinda of around and around, nice lips

If you hadn't told us she was working out in a gym, I wouldn't have been able to tell that from the photo. There are no cues to put her in a gym.
Otherwise..... what's not to like - hot sweaty woman with pouty lips.......

I can't say it does anything for me emotionally

however there is something about the lips shoulder etc that keeps me coming back to look at the image.

I agree with what Paul says "If you hadn't told us she was working out in a gym, I wouldn't have been able to tell that from the photo".

No need to not tell us things Skip, I think you are reading me diffeently to what I intended so put it down to my bad wording and just post as normal

Emotionally I must be honest and say it has obviously left her feeling hot but it leaves me feeling cold. It just doesn't say anything other than 'Here are my muscles.... well, they were here a minute ago....'

Doesn't speak of a gym and I amnot keen on faces cut off halfway through the nose though I recognise this is not supposed to be a portrait so maybe that is immaterial here. I guess I would figure that she works out but I don't see anything that attracts me, least of all the lady who is not shown at her best here methinks.

Well until the women drop in I'll add my thoughts...

On the techy side of things I like the mono conversion, however I find the blown highlights in the background a distraction.

Emotionally it's harder to get a feeling from it as you've decided to only show a small area of her body and not much of her face. From what is shown I do get the impression of concentration as she either works out or poses... However, going with the stereotypical views of a woman, she's probably checking to see how good her butt looks in the mirror

I'm thinking that I should have retitled this to something like: "I Am Woman".

Anyone have some ideas now?

Finally, in the hi res image, you can see the blurry image of the model reflected in the mirrors. Sorry this didn't come out here because it really does add.

I like the tones on this Skip, but i think i would like it better if the crop was a little higher up to show more of her nose or even some eye, but i still like it and the idea is great.

i like this image skip, to me as soon as i saw it i thought workout/gym/keep fit, and made me think of all the people out there (i know a few) who are constantly chasing the 'perfect body'

Now this is really funny.....fe**less, which I wrote twice and it was astericted out, means incompetent or ineffective. It does not pertain to the lack of love.

So crew, I understand the program, but it is ****less.

I think the reason the asterisking has happened Skip is that whilst you're entirely right as to the meaning of f-e-c-k-l-e-s-s (trying to avoid losing it to the asterisks!) in the UK a very well known sitcom has an Irish priest who always uses an 'e' instead of a 'u' in his version of the well known swear word and this might be what is causing the problem. Could be wrong but that would explain it.
