Re: HDR Photomatix - Light Rays

wow ... really like both ,first one still has natural look to it ...the second one has such a painted look attached to it ,Really like the pinks and blues.

Think you both have 2 outstanding and uniquely original works of art .Clearly shows what can be accomplished in the photo editing side of things .

As we only have adobe photoshop cs3 now ,what is this PhotoMatix everyone mentions?
is it seperate editing software

cheers Chickadee

Way to go Mr Blue Sky, nice burst, I tried to bring out the golden yellow. I am starting to believe in at least four images for HDR,,,but I have been pimped before so who knows,

Re: HDR Photomatix - Light Rays

LOL Mr Blue Sky, think you're gonna have to change your name to Mr Psychedelic Sky' <g>

Original image is ok but I still don't think HDR seems to work quite as effectively with one image adjusted to different levels as it does for 3 or more images taken at the same time with bracketed lighting. What I'd like to see here Dave is the original image to see how much difference the HDR treatment has made that wouldn't have happened if you'd just adjusted with curves etc.

Cheers,
Rob
