High Force
Didn’t realise just how hard this was to photograph. The sun was at about 11 o’clock in the pic and it was glinting off all the rocks and water. Getting home only to find a couple of good shots was a little disappointing. Any advice for future ref would be appreciated.

Very nice mate, maybe try a polarising filter if you are worried about reflections on bright sunny days ?

I'd be happy with that, great shot
![]() What do you mean when you say you only had a few decent ones, were the rest underexposed? |

It looks good in B&W, I have to agree on the vapour trails though, these can be cloned out quite easily.
One way to get round the exposure problem is to take two shots, one for the shadows and the other for the highlights. overlay the images in your fav graphics software. |

Thanks for your comments, i have since purchased a polarising filter and i am in the proccess of cloning out the vapour trails, my ps skills are very poor and always seem to leave a trail when cloning. Thanks again.

Thanks again. Ken. |

The work you have since applied has made a huge difference to the shot, well worth the effort plus you will also improve your post processing skills the more you do.

Good job! Cloning is a great technique to master as it enables you to do so much with distractions in otherwise good shots. Try setting the clone tool opacity much lower than 100%, and instead of trying to match the surroundings in one click, build up with several clicks- you'll find it much easier and you'll be less lkely to leave the tell tale trails of your work.
