This image is a result of poor exposure it is way to dark normally to see any fly detail..however I've saved the photo as the extreme exposure ( +2.5 from the RAW) struck me as interesting.

Or is that just me ?

I guess this is making a silk purse from a sows ear, lemonade when given lemons or making the most of a sticky situation. In any event, wherever you are, please keep this fly there.

I'm not usually at all keen on these, but there is something about this one that draws you in. I'd say keeper.

Usually bumping the exposure in a terribly underexposed RAW image does nothing but produce a lot of noise in a bad picture, (I know that intimately) but this has enough of an other world effect that it makes one continue to look.
