Can you explain the concept and stuff behind this?

Here is a picture on the wall, obviously in black and white. But wait a minute. Her fingers are grasping the frame.

Is she a picture? Is she part of the wall? Is she someone stuck in the frame? Or is she just holding the frame in front of her?

The interest of this picture is in the enigma. And the partial frame adds to that a bit. Where does it end? Why isn't it all there?

Questions questions questions.

She is looking at us, and doesn't seem that happy.

Harry Potter's school, Hogwarts has these apparitions who move and talk inside their picture frames, and the young witches and wizards have to give many of them the password to be allowed entry into various places.

Obviously two images merged together using layers, Skip ... the giveaway is that some of her fingers are transparent But why is her left eye so blurred

Aside from those two slips, a very clever, interesting + novel concept, which you almost pulled off

They were not two merged images. I took the picture with the model holding a picture frame, then mono'd her and left the rest as is.

The selection wasn't the best, cause I am an amateur at that, but I liked the concept.

It's a great idea, and decent execution, but the model is rather badly blurred...not sure of cause, could be the selection like you said but...fix that and it would be good

I know, J, and this was one of my rejects because she was not in focus, but then I thought "ghost, apparition".

I like the idea a lot Skip but I think it would look better with the model in sharp focus and maybe face on to the frame, with all the frame in shot.
