Although I like the subject matter I would have captured this differently. I don't like the way you have split the horizon down the middle of the picture personally. Sorry.

Thank you for the feedback, The thing I was going for here was the converging horizontal lines of the tree line and waters edge, "rule of thirds" (learn the rules then find out ways to break them).
Oh well back to the drawing board! :roll: :lol:

Hey there is nothing wrong with experimenting and trying out new things, just because it doesn't work for me doesn't mean it isn't right. I would wait for more opinions before condemning the shot.

Either way a crop on the bottom to remove some of the water will return this picture to the conventional view and one that is widely accepted as being a good composition. So there will be nothing lost long term
