I must say this site is great, not only helping with my panoramas which I can now stitch great! Thanks all. But not only did I get inspired with the panos (I will share these when I get some webspace to show these at decent size) and hdr I also like the infrared stuff going on so added to my filter collection with a Cokin IR Filter.
This is my best shot so far with it. Takes some playing with exposures. Do you think I am on the right track ?

Re: InfraRed New Forest
Definitely the right track! All you need now is no movement in the clouds!

Re: InfraRed New Forest
Looks to be on the right track! Is it high ISO? I'm not sure if the custom function "long exposure noise reduction" may give even better results. No idea if it is on your camera.

Re: InfraRed New Forest
I think the iso is 400 from memory...It took about 20 sec exposure to get it so I'll have to ask the clouds to hover next time
. I'll have a look to see if there's noise reduction on my 10D.

Re: InfraRed New Forest
I think it looks good as a conversion. Try next time to find an old building to set in the corner. I love IR and the life it brings to so many area's,,I like the custom balance and the picture straight off the camera,,but your doing very good with this. My very first one with a 20D looked full of noise.
