Re: Jamie2

Interesting again David, the lighting is very good. She must be doing herself a mischief squeezing her waist down to that size, she looks like her boobs are about to explode! Now, I know this might sound a bit daft but I hope you'll get what I mean: the way she is sat is a bit too 'pretty and twee' for her look. Does that make sense? Don't get me wrong, she looks a lovely girl, just the attire is designed to make her very much an alternative model but the pose is not at all gritty or alternative. I don't know, maybe it's just me.

Still a good image though and well taken

Cheers,
Rob

Re: Jamie2

Much nicer shot than the previous one David. But agree with Rob, a slightly more gritty pose - but not quite so gritty as the last one! - would work better I think.

Re: Jamie2

I actually disagree with rob, I like the pose, I think the contrast between the "girly/lady like" pose and the grunge dress and look make for an interesting picture.

I think she could be slightly more exposed, her very pale skin is made to look grey with the stark white background.

Dave please don't take offence, but don't you want to try liven things up a bit, all of your photo's are almost identical, throw some back ground in, some interesting lighting, anything but that awful bright white. I think this is the biggest reason you're photo's don't do it for me.

LOL....how do you mean that????

I feel like tim, I like the pose. However, I think her right arm is a bit unnatural. Perhaps it should be draped across the front of her body.

Re: Jamie2

for once i kinda disagree with Rob in that i like the pose, it may not be entirely suited to her outfit but the pose itself looks natural............ and HOW did she get her waist that sizE! OMg I cant get my breath just thinking about it

Re: Jamie2

I agree with Tim ref the pose, it’s a great contrast between her dress attitude and the good girl typical rest position.

The thing that I noticed straight away is her eyes/face. She looks to have stunning eyes and with her makeup being unique I would have almost been tempted to do a full session of portraits getting her to have as many different expressions as possible. I am sure it would have been a lot of fun and given you some great results too!

i done alot of headshots, but Jamie doesn't like close ups. here is one but when i down size it, it disn't compare to the full res one. David.

Re: Jamie2

What a shame she doesn't like the close up work, does that mean she doesn't do them or just prefers not to?

Either way...thats such a powerful striking shot that jumps straight out at you!! Imagine the impact you could get with some different expressions, anger, laughing, threatening etc...

Cheers for the reply Dave
