I think it is a good shot technically, David, good colour and tones, sharp and nicely lit. But......Jules' pose is rather gratuitous for this shot and IMO I don't think you need the spread legs and open blouse.

The pose doesn't relate to the environment. Why is her blouse open, etc? Doesn't work.

I think that in posing your models, you have to think of 2 things. First, if you are taking images for their portfolio, you want to do pretty standard pictures that enhance the models strong points.

That is a completely different concept from taking artistic images for you.

These have to tell a coherent story, or be incredibly different to hit the viewer. Yes, this is different. Why is she at the puter? Why is she turned around? Why is she in a provotive pose? But here, even with those questions, it just doesn't work.

If I were doing this shoot, I would get rid of the 'puter. Then I would put a pair of glasses on her, down on her nose so that she is looking over them at you. I would have her sit in the chair, with her legs crossed, leaning forward, perhaps with a pencil to her lips, and showing some cleavage. Tilt her head a bit, have her look directly into the camera, and give her a "come hither" smile. (my god, is that an archaic phrase).

Now here is everyman's fantasy. A sexy secretary.

It might work. It might be trite. But maybe it is a starting point.
