This shot i took on Xmas Eve, Katie is up from from London visiting her relatives, so took the opportunity to do a shoot with her. Thanks David

Technically a very good shot.

However, I don't think that the paci (or whatever you call it in the UK) works well with the rest of the outfit. It also hides Katies mouth.

Without the paci, I think that the viewer would still get the impression of a little girl, particularly with that look on Katies face. It is wonderul.

This shot makes me feel VERY uncomfortable. On the composition side it is ok other than the fact the head, face and top are all so busy it clashes. The connection between the dummy/pacifier and the woman seemingly peeling down her panties is what I dislike the most.

Sorry, definitely not for me this one.

sorry i really really dont like it........ it smacks too much of childhood with the dummy and that doesnt sit with the obviously provocative pose. technically nothing to critique but the pose is definately not for me . sorry.

Gotta agree, I don't really want to see childrens dummies mixed with this adult context. Too be honest even without the dummy this doesn't seem like a particularly attractive or provocative pose.

Technically an OK shot but I just wonder why? What impression were you trying to make? Maybe with an explanation I could appreciate it more?

Thanks for the comments, i totally agree with what you are saying about the dummy, Katie wanted to do this shot, as her nickname is Doll, as soon as i saw it i didn't like it, but Katie loved it. I put it on here as i new i would get truthfull comments, which i did, Thank you... Sorry i think i should have explained the reason i took the shot when i posted the picture, i will take it down and repost a better picture.

A much better image David, Katie retains the contrast of innocene thru the facial expression and provocative/ erotic thru the pose.... while not having the link to childhood. i think this really does what the first one i think was perhaps intended to do.

Agree with Fi. In addition, I really like the pose and colors. You are using only 3 colors, blue, white and skin tone, with just a touch of red. I really like that.

I like this shot a lot more David but may I suggest one thing: please don't replace your pictures, just post a new one in a new thread. The problem is, this site has LOTS more viewers than you realise, a lot of guests and so forth who might come in once or twice but not see the history of a thread. They now read all the comments about dummies, etc. and think 'What dummy?' and don't get what all the controversy is about. In short, I think we should let everyone make up their own mind on it. Whilst I thought the shot made me very uncomfortable, I was certainly not suggesting you shouldn't show it and the very fact it threw up such comments made it even more valid in some ways. Yours was a controversial shot, a shocking shot in some ways, but NOT a shot that was offensive.

As for the replacement shot, it is well-handled and the grey BG works well. The pose is good and works well in this case. This is not pretending to be a 'perfect model' type shot, she is unusual, does not have perfect skin-tone etc. and that is the strength of the picture IMO.
