Re: Kirstie
i think this is one of the best you have posted....... she looks completely comfortable and natural and looks like she is enjoyiong herself. if i had to be picky it would be slightly tight crop round the elbows but otherwise i think you should be real pleased with this and i am sure she is chuffed as well!

Re: Kirstie
Yup, very balanced exposure, relaxed posture and smile. Lingerie shots don't do much for me but that is only a personal observation, not a criticism of the picture which I think has been very well taken. I think I would put this down as your best so far David

Re: Kirstie
you know i have come back to look at this a couple of times. and i have come to the conclusion that the reason i prefer this to most of your other shots is that this pose is not obviously provocative. i suppose some could say her being in lingerie is provocative. but would it be classed as that is it had been a swim suit?. sorry kinda sounding myself out here...lol

Re: Kirstie
I agree completely with Fi and Rob. Very natural comfortable pose. A very standard pose for a portfolio that you both pull off very well.
My only suggestion here is that on my monitor, at least, the skin of her arms and to some extent her legs looks mottled. Has she considered using makeup for her limbs? Or perhaps you could photoshop her, but makeup would be more effective (natural? ha ha ha). skip |

Re: Kirstie
I'd work on this in Photoshop a bit to smooth out the skin of your model, since there's obvious visible imperfections even at the low resolution you've posted. This would be essential if the image is destined for either her or, more imporantly, your portfolio.
Also - the make-up that she's wearing doesn't look like it's been applied professionally, resulting in some glaringly obvious mistmatches of skin tone - particularly around her eyes and at her hairline. As a watchword for this kind of shooting, either a) Have your model wear no make up at all and add it in later in post, or b) Have a professional apply the make-up for her Other than the above points, the lighting is good, her pose is relaxed and natural and the composition works... all it needs now is the post processing to make it pop |
