Lamb to the slaughter

Guys

Well I got out today, and did my first shoot outside. My head was spinning with all the information, first the camera controls, secondly the shutter speed and aperature and then how to compose a good view for an image.

Apart from heavens opening up after i had set up all my equipment, and then having to put it all away again, i thoroughly enjoyed the morning, it was great fun.

Well as the title suggests, a lamb to the slaughter, i am posting my first picture, i thought, unless i know were i am going wrong, i aint going to get any better. So here goes................

Que sara sara, sat here in my tin helmet.

Mike

Hmmm, can't see the wood for the trees....

Sorry, couldn't resist! lol

I like it make, but I think its suffered somehow with the oversharpened speckling problem that you had on your last tree picture. How are you post processing it?
