Re: last one Xena
My favourite, the pose, the lack of distractions, everything adds too the viewers feeling of the subject. Only small thing is the glare on her right eye, our left.
At first I felt her face is slightly blown, but on second though I don't think it is too much, I think it adds focus. |

Re: last one Xena
If you can tone down the glare on her right eye, this will be a great shot.

Re: last one Xena
Not keen on the eye though I admit the adjustment has made it considerably better. The problem for me is the heavy shadow between the natural fall of the hair and the eye itself. Because of it being mono, you have lost any disinction between where the hair falls and the eye starts as it is just plain black right through.
I wonder whether this would look interesting as a high key shot with very few tones. Cheers, Rob |

Re: last one Xena
I think it has potential, perhaps dumbed down just a bit with perhaps two further intermediate shades but I like the effect it is giving. The missing nose is a bit distracting but that isn't an issue here, you were aiming to see what the high key effect would be like and I think it would work with this shot.
Cheers Skip, Rob |
