Another one of Lauren this time out on location

Wow, a red-head banana! Sorry, just had to laugh, she looks so tarty, I am sure quite deliberately. May I honestly tell you what my initial thought was?: A speech bubble saying 'Hurry up and press that shutter button will you, I am busting for a pee!'

This is totally not my genre so please take my humour with a pinch of salt Dave, you know I think you produce some excellent shots. It's just that this one makes me laugh, it is so desperately tarty. If I saw this shot in a newspaper, I'd assume she was 'pulling a trick'!

From a purely photographic aspect, ignoring the content and things, the lighting is very good and the off-centre positioning with Lauren looking into the picture works very well.

I didn't really think about it until Rob mentioned it, but the poor girl looks like she is waiting for the next trick. Wonderful.

As usual, your focus and lighting are perfect. I really like the contrast of the red and yellow against the gray wall, and that of the stones with her dress and skin.

Good angle of her left arm, but perhaps to make the composition more interesting I would have liked to have seen something different with her legs and right arm to complement her left arm.

Do you have other images of Lauren here? They should really be great.

well this is different...... i LOVE her boots.......!!!!!!! I wanna pair! ( in black)!!

i do like the composition of this and i like her arm shape, but i think doing something else with her legs would make it less like she was bursting!.......,lighting is absolutely perfect, so apart from her legs a cracking image.

I think you guys are being way too harsh on the girl here!

Clearly, her audience is not older men who dont like the genre so it's a bit mean to have a go. I like the pose, her figure is fantastic and slightly crossing her legs adds extra curves to the body!

The colours and lighting are great, nice shot.

I like it. the only thing I dont like is the stone wall, if she was photographed at a studio with a different background it would change the perspective of the picture...good shot!

The colours, pose, lighting etc are all excellent

I like the vibrancy of the colour. I think the choice of bright yellow to contrast the bright red of the hair is a great choice.

Sorry Sweet_Sac but if an image is put on the Critique board then anyone, young or old, male or female, is entitled to 'have a go' as you put it! My comments refered to this as a photograph so not being a lover of this genre does not make my comments or thoughts less valid.

Indeed, in some ways it probably adds validity in that if someone is not into a specific genre, he is less likely to be judging it purely on 'type' rather than on the photographic elements of the picture.

And if Fi ever gets those black boots and finds you, you are in BIG trouble <g>
