Like Charlotte, I haven't had an awful lot of free time recently especially at times of day when I'd usually take photos...
![]() So I thought I'd have a go at some abstract macros as I can do that indoors and it doesn't matter if I suddenly need to feed/wind/cuddle/bath/change the baby. ![]() Below is the result of my first such session, which I'm quite pleased with really. I like the impression of trapped rainbows. Please share your opinions on it, if you have any... ![]() Is it easy to guess what this is? (Seems easy to me, but I was there at the time!) ![]() If you're hungry for more (yeah, right!), here's a rather sci-fi-ish pic from the same session. Thanks for looking! GS |

Good effect, is it water drops on a cd?

Re: The Light Fantastic
I could take guesses but I am not sure I actually want to know or even care what it is (I mean that in a good way, not an apathetic way!). The effect is strong and well handled so it stands up as an abstract image on its own. Knowing it is water on a CD or anything else in a way would distract me from the image as it is. Sometimes we should stick to the resulting image rather than wprry about how it was taken. My only slight whinge is that the colour is a bit over saturated but it certainly has impact. I must say if setting this up on my own, I would go for three drops instead of 4 as a triangle is a more dynamic shape than a quadrangle, but that is just me being picky LOL.
Good work here. I also like some of your other work on your website, especially some of the floral work. Cheers, Rob
