Lioness

Here's another pic I took at West midlands Safari park last Sunday (along with the White Lions in my other thread)..

I got quite a few shots of the lions, but this is, in my opinion, by far the best. I particularly like the amount of detail captured (especially visible in the larger version).

This is also the only one where the fence isn't clearly visible!

All comments/critiques/thoughts welcomed

thats really nice Chez, i have a couple of lion shots and have to say thats better than any of mine!

Detail on the large version is great, but can you sharpen it up a little more?

Hope you dont mind Chez, had a play with your shot, just adjusted levels and lightened the eyes then sharpened...



and cropped, as i felt it looked a little better


I think its a great shot, well done!

Nice pic, and EosD's colour and crop treatment lifts it that bit further. One for the portfolio I'd suggest.

Next time you're there perhaps drop her a hint that blokes don't like bearded women!
