Lisa - Studio Shoot
Here is Lisa from yesterdays Studio shoot. Yet another wonderful model . This time the shot was taken from window light only, with some reflectors to lighten the shadows.
Taken with Nikon D200 & 50mm f/1.8 (oh how I love this cheap lens ) Mono conversion was done in Lightroom & the only tweaking in PS was to remove reflection on lips (Dave Canon will pick up on this ) plus pulled the white end of levels in a tad.As ever C&C welcome

Re: Lisa - Studio Shoot
I might've been tempted to remove the frown lines - or, better still, get a pose without them. But otherwise, like the tousled look - very natural looking

Re: Lisa - Studio Shoot
Cracking shot but the conversion seems a little flat on my monitor.

Re: Lisa - Studio Shoot
Time for a new monitor then

Re: Lisa - Studio Shoot
Sorry Dave it might just be my preference for punchy black n white but on my rather nice lacie monitor it appears flat.

Re: Lisa - Studio Shoot
Not overly flat to me, but I can see what Gary means.
Her cheeks look darker than her nose, mouth and chin to me, (red cheeks?) so upping the contrast might exaggerate this. |
