Loads More Images

I've spent today delving into my huge pile of CD and DVD-Roms and the results are in the members gallery now. I've finally managed to put halfway decent captions on them all, but there are far too many to link to in the forums.
Have a shufti and let me know what you think.

BTW there are some glam-type shots, so watch out if you don't like that sort of thing - I've left the really strong stuff out as this isn't the place for that sort of thing, but Americans, Religious Zealots and other Crazy People may still be put off.

There are some fantastic shots in there mate, well i think they all are. Love the road crash one in Bosnia, with the helicopter landing. Incredible shot.

As I've already said in the other thread "I like all of them, all very good work".

I especially like the glam gallery, and don't know why people are so prudish.
I would like to have a go at this type of photography myself, but don't know where to start.

Any pointers Arkady?

The models list the kind of work they'll do, you email them with what you require and they get in touch with a price list.
It helps if you have studio time already booked - think three weeks in advance - most models are struggling student types and are desperate for work...
Check out the links to studios - most major towns have at least one or two with all the studio flash equipment in situ. I use my own so I can do location work as well, but it's not essential.

If you like I can arrange a group booking at my friendly studio in Brighton or in Worksop with a couple of models for some 'Figure Nude Plus' - that's up to UK men's magazine level. But it'll be cash for the models on the day, so only say yes if you can definitely attend - I'll be mightily p'd off if I do a booking and no-one shows up.

This is the best way to learn this sort of thing - you bounce ideas off one another and there's less embarrassment involved all round.

(edit) I just checked out the Worksop site and I apologise for the horrific tackyness of the site itself - believe me it's a really good studio... looks as though they have a new webmaster... yuck!

indeed, excellent idea and offer, its a huge shame that my wife will almost certainly blockade such a trip for me!!!!

Fortunately, as my missus doesn't want to model for me, she is encouraging me to go to a studio and photograph models.

I'm sure if your wife understood that by going to a studio you would also be learning alot too, which in turn would help improve your photography.
She may then be more understandanding and let you go.

Either that or you'll have to bribe her. :lol:

My missus is very understanding about this sort of thing - total openness - ie that I always tell her when, where and with whom, and that all proceeds go towards her holidays in the sun.

Oh and no touching, at all, ever! Not even for a joke...

Considering that some of the stuff I shoot is out-and-out porn, it works out quite well...

We managed to get away twice last year on the proceeds from my pervy pix.

Seriously, if anyone's interested, I can set up something fairly easily. I'll try and pick a location that doesn't involve everyone travelling for hours and hours and the girls (I'd suggest two who have worked together before, as it gives greater scope for images) will be ones that have some experience of 'amateur' photographers - in that they will offer advice on poses and lighting instead of leaving it all up to the photographer, which can be a little daunting for beginners to this sort of thing.
Also if the other halves are worried, get them to come along.There'll be a coffee shop somewhere nearby and if we do pick on Brighton, there's loads to do shopping-wise... hmmm, on second thoughts though...
