Martin's Jump
This is my nephew, Martin. Had this since October but never did anything with it - partly 'cos of the burned highlights behind. Think they don't matter too much, seeing as they're not the subject, are well in the BG and he's against mainly foliage.
What does everyone else think? Suggestions? Improvements? ![]() |

Re: Martin's Jump
The only thing that distracts me a little ,is the glare off the white (i think you call it burned highlights) as it to me is hard on eyes especially when looking at front wheel.
definately have captured the movement and concentration on Martins face ![]() |

Re: Martin's Jump
Nice little puzzle before going to sleep, nice picture of Martin as he flys along. I loaded a color range selection and added blue hoping to soften the background, tried another darker blur blend mode, not to hot... but I would say he looks good just alittle lighter and maybe you will like the blue.
I also like the rear spokes that or now forzen in flight.[IMG] [/IMG] |

Re: Martin's Jump
Many thanks for the comments. Like the treatment on the burned highlights, Boofers, tho' I'm still aware they're still present (if that makes sense!). Lightening Martin works pretty well - I might go for somewhere in between

Re: Martin's Jump
I like boofers pimp. Although except for the hightlights in the original, I liked that until I saw the pimp.
The shot gives a good feeling of motion, and I really like Martin's concentration, presumably on not wiping out! skip |
