what a fantastic angle............ there is so much that just grabs the eye and takes it round and round the image! everytime i look there is something different. saying that my eyes go funny after a wee while ! lol back to your normal stunning monos Dave! well done

One of the problems with these wide angle shots is the converging verticals. You might try a couple of variations of this shot but I cannot promise they will be an improvement:

a. Correct the converging verticals in PS. One of the consequences is that you will lose a bit from each side but it would ensure that the tower is vertical.

b. When converting to mono try using a lower value for blue (probably negative) to darken the blue sky.

I like the shot anyway and it is the sort of picture I take with my 10-22mm lens.

Thanks for comments Fiona.

Dave, your right re converging verticals & in this example the perspective crop would take out too much from left side. I converted with Channel Mixer at 100% red, but will go back & play with some negative figures for Blue to see the result

Nice work Dave I think the converging verticals kinda add to the creativity of the shot in this case, 'cos it looks like an artistic shaped structure anyway
