The moon tonight.

I thought I would get the big Canon 300mm f/2.8 lens out tonight as the moon was showing its head. I stacked the lens with both the 2X and the 1.4X converters and got this shot..

Now the downside... Taken at F10 I noticed I had several dust bunnies on my sensor.

Out with the Digi-Pad and Eclipse cleaning fluid and made a start..

I cleaned my 20D on a couple of occasions with success and the 1DMk2 went just the same..

Now to get my underware in the washer..

Fantastic shot there m8.

If you look real closely, you can see the mess the americans left on there after their last picnic

Its a great shot BB.
Did you use a high ISO? As there's quite a bit of noise.

You should be able to use ISO100
DoF isn't that important, as the moon is too far away for it to make a differance.

I haven't had a chance to try it yet but I read something the other day suggesting F8 and 1/250 at ISO 200.

Nice shot
