More Swans

I do like the third picture
but as you say the weather has hindered here. What lense & exposure etc did you use?

Thanks Jase. They were all taken wide open with the Canon 300mm f/4L IS at speeds between 1/160 and 1/320, hand held. The sun was out earlier in the day, but of course went behind the clouds as soon as I wanted to take some pics!

The first one is pretty much there. It is a shame about the lighting. I was really lucky that it was a bright clear day and the sun was low in the sky.

The first two look a little soft to me but nothing that some USM could not fix. The third one has been captured spot on with a great angle, perfect focus and good DOF. If you could bring out the catch light in its eye slightly more, this would make a great photograph.
