Mother and baby

Just done this at teatime today, really like this, a bit different from what i usually do but i like to try different things.

tha is lovely david, have u converted to mono cos i bet it looks even better. My one little bugbear ( there has to be one doesnt there) is that i cant help but feel that its a tad tight at her hair at the back. otherwise a beautiful image one that i think she will be very veyr pleased with!

This is a lovely shot David. One thing really did jump out at me though and that is the darkness of mother's left eye which mars the rest of this otherwise beautiful shot. Any more that aren't quite as dark as that or have a go at lifting it a tad in PS maybe?

great image , actually i would personally crop bit of bottom and focus mainly from mums arm up as to me thats the area of interest.Again comes down to how we each see it .Really think it would look good as a mono ,just something about it .

A really nice shot, the lighting is excellent (apart from maybe the lady's left eye being a bit dark), it's really brought out the body shapes and subtle skin tones well.

I really like this David, it looks fantastic and I've always liked these natural mother and baby photos. I think its framed just right.

I've just had another look at the image and I've spotted something that keeps catching my eye - I think it must be her left hand, just on the corner of her right elbow and its sticking out - I would have just taken that out in pping. Only just noticed it but now I can't stop looking at it.

i think its mums finger from other arm ,didnt notice until read your coment .

That really is a super shot

Would agree with Fi about the tight crop at the left but that really is a very minor thing!

Ok, let's see what you think Davey....

Maybe a tad too dark but the strength of the eyes works well against the soft skintones.

Adding comment: The lady's face is showing some banding artefacts due to compression but done from the original this would not be a problem
