My first pic post!

I really like this reef shot. It was taken at the Nat'l Aquarium in Baltimore. The weird thing about it is it was taken through the glass and still came out really well. *Note the 2 clown fish at the bottom left*

Comments, tips, suggestions always welcome, but please be kind :wink: ... I'm VERY new at all of this

PS- all of my pics were taken using my Minolta DiMAGE Z-10

Very nice coral and a well exposed shot too I think. If you get a chance to go back, try and get a shot of one or more fish swimming nearer the centre, over that patch of smoother orange coral for example to give the image a bit of 'life'.

It’s difficult to shoot and get good results through glass, usually you end up with flare and reflections from things behind you ruining the picture. I have the feeling that the scene had brighter more saturated colours though; maybe try increasing the saturation slightly in a image editor to make it a little livelier?

You have done very well here and got a good result.
