Re: My London Eye

I actually like this more than some of the eye pics I have seen here.

This gives a feeling of structure and engineering, which is a bit different.

The focus is good, but I am not sure about the colors - brown sky?

Oh, I forgot, this is the UK.

skip <--hiding from the shots of which he is sure to be the target.

Nice shot, like the lights, but why is the sky brown?

Think it's probably orange - the colour of most streetlamp light.

Re: My London Eye

Fly around in an aeroplane and you'll see exactly where all the towns and cities are without ever looking down.... thanks to the light pollution of orange street lamps pumping 70% of their light up into the sky Why or why they can't use lower powered lamps with reflectors above to push the light downwards and thus reduce light pollution and the use of electricity I do not know.... especially as some good town councils have gone that route and saved a fortune while helping the environment!

Take a picture of the London Eye in the evening and it invariably has that colour sky. Just the way it is I guess. Can't see Ken Livingstone doing anything about it in a hurry. It isn't being caused by motorists so he can't stick another tax on it LOL.

Not sure this works either - no spokes visible now.

Re: My London Eye

My version!
Think to really "remove" that colour you'd be best off altering the WB on the RAW file

Replace colour, sharpen
