Natural History Museum Interior
Like a No 9 bus, you see nothing from me for ages then two come along almost at once! Well, I thought I'd put up another offering from my London trip this weekend.
I went to the Natural History museum and was stunned by the glorious architecture, absolutely amazing. Far more interesting than the actual contents of the museum, worth visiting just for the building itself. Yes, it has had a drink of Lucisade which some like and some don't. I do so there we go, that's taste for you Anyway, see what you think.Cheers all, Rob

Re: Natural History Museum Interior
Compositionally it's a super shot but not sure I like the Lucisade effect but would really like to see the original so I can see exactly what the Lucisade does for it!

Re: Natural History Museum Interior
I really like this picture Rob. I like all the curves. I wonder how it would look in black and white. Kinda haunting maybe.

Re: Natural History Museum Interior
Here you go, the same shot in mono for you to compare. Personally I like the tone of the bricks in the coloured version but some will no doubt prefer black and white.
Cheers, Rob

Re: Natural History Museum Interior
I really like it--not haunting---I posted a comment in your gallery. Sorry I didn't rate it, but would give it a 10! Sometimes BW is good cuz your imagination has to work. I think this is a good picture where the mind can run wild with thought about what is in every nook cuz all you see is shadow.

Re: Natural History Museum Interior
Thanks Dogdots and others for your positive comments, I have really appreciated them.
Glad you like the mono version dots, it seems to work well like that. Must admit I prefer the colour version but I'd happily sit and 'explore' either one. Thanks again all, Rob |

Re: Natural History Museum Interior
I'm with Angela on this one, Rob. It might just be me, but I have noticed this with other Lucisaded shots (Graham's, if I recall correctly; in fact that's where I concocted the label 'lucozaded' which has evolved into a more appropriate spelling, I see
) + that is that the effect of Lucis Art seems to make images devoid of any sort of perspective Don't get me wrong, it's a super image but, like Angela, I'm curious to see the original.

Re: Natural History Museum Interior
Yeah I'd like to see the original too
But looks nice so far. Never used LucisArt so I am not addicted yet, I can see through the (orange) haze

Re: Natural History Museum Interior
Here you go, for those who wanted to see the unLucisaded version, this is it. :o)
In this version, I have not applied any filters, I have just copied onto a separate later and used Overlay blending mode, reduced down to about 45%. I applied the same frame style so that you got as close a comparison as possible so enough said about that bit. Some like drop shadows, some don't, I do :o) But see what you think between the two pictures themselves. I must admit if I am honest I prefer the non Lucisaded version as I prefer the stronger colour. Other views?
