Done a shoot with Nikki on Sunday, went right in the middle of the field so we would not be disturbed, all it took was 10 mins before we had our firt person walking through the field and after that we had another 5 people coming through the field. it must have been a short cut, haha

wow what a difference the surrondings Make David. a lvoely shot. can i have one little quibble.... i would have liked it to be from a lower angle and have her completely in the shot....... but still a great image and one I am sure she is very pleased with!

ummmm....I would have walked into the field and watched the shoot. Perhaps given some personal pointers. Then try to sign up Nikki for my own shoot!

I agree with Fi...a lower angle would have been a bit more intimate and striking. Also I think that the bright yellow flowers detract from Nikki.

Thanks skip fiona, the only thing about a lower angle the floor was crap and had broken shoots everywhere i did take a few but diidn't like them,

i have a ton of pic's from this shoot, but the only problem is u can only poat one picture a day on here.

the only thing i would suggest , then again its only an opinion is when i look at the shot I find the yellow at top of pic is very bright ,i just feel it takes a little of your subject ,and also i draw my attention to the tyre marks (Flattened flowers) ,is there anywhere there you can avoid the tyre marks? Do like the catchment of sun on the hair .Can relate to people coming into range when trying to take photos its like lets go see whats so interesting suppose its the joys of photography.

Sorry guys but nudes/semi nudes/non work safe etc have to be in the critique section, its in the rules.

You are welcomed to add more from the same shoot into this thread though now that the initial critique has been completed and its older than one day. We are are little flexible, the rules were intended to make things safe not be restrictive

It's a very well done shot Dave, the balance is good between her skin tone and the flowers. I am happy enough with everything in this pic, the crop is ok even though it crops below the knee which is normally a no-no. It's a bit '70's Titbits' looking but that isn't a problem; it sold then so why shouldn't it sell now!
