Re: The old back yard
Can I be truthful Vk, I am afraid this looks like 'A few hills covered with trees. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with it per se, just that it doesn't really strike me as an outstanding view or whatever. i think maybe it is more to you because it is a special place in your memories and we all have important places like that. It's just that they usually look a whole lot more special to us than they do to others: call it sentimental value perhaps?

Re: The old back yard
I agree with Rob, then I really like the furowd..."dang need to learn how to spell",, the plowed field is very eye catching, the view is very good for distance,,,here's the catch, if you want to make more then a memory picture, start by cloning out the radio tower and maybe crop it down to a panoramic view by getting rid of the foreground just before the field and an inch of sky. I am all for memory pictures that hint a bit of the past, maybe lighten the dark cloud shadows might work to change the face of this a little.

Re: The old back yard
Hey Will
We all have those pictures that are very strong and have huge emotional impact for us, but very little for the casual viewer. Sad, but that is the way it is. But not really sad, because we can go back again and again to those pictures and revive wonderful memories from them. skip |
