Old Style Motor racing.

Got this shot at the Goodwood Revival a few weeks ago. My intention was for it to look as if it was taken in the age of the cars racing 1930s - 40s. Does it work?

Re: Old Style Motor racing.

Your image works very well as it has a nice amount of noise to give it a grainy feel. The only thing I can think of that might work is to give it a sepia boost just to give it that old aged look.

Re: Old Style Motor racing.

The grain in the shot defintely works. Another possibility is to add the equivelant of vignetting that some old cameras produced.

Re: Old Style Motor racing.

Other than the Sepia treatment others have mentioned I would say the shot works very well.
