Oulton Park - Britsh Superbikes

I spent most of today at Outlon Park watching the British Superbikes and other supporting races.
It's the first time I've been to a bike event - The acceleration, speed and bravery of the riders was awesome.

Some photos

British Superbikes

Superb shots - sharp, nice and close and good panning. By coincidence one of my pals was there with a Honda team, who come from Scotland I think.

Those shots are just fantastic.

How do you set up the camera for focus and metering for that sort of event? I'm assuming AIServo but are you selecting an off centre focus point or just letting the camera choose?

Probably not Matty, its probably down the the 300D/10D being slower than the Newer models at focus lock.
