Panorama of Derwent Water
This is a 4 shot stitch of Derwent Water from Surprise View at sunrise.
To the right is Skiddaw with Cat Bells in the center and the river Derwent snaking off to the left. Your thoughts on how to improve this shot in post processing. ( Will be back but not for a few months ) :thankyous ![]() |

Where you going? - It sounds like you're goin to Jail! :icon_eek:
![]() Damned if there's much wrong with that at all. I'd be tempted to lose those two bits of foliage in the upper right corner, they're hardly enough to provide a frame or foreground interest so they're just distracting from the vista. Other than that I'd be tempted to play around with the contrast for maximum punch, but that's not to say you'd necessarily improve on it. |

its very nice, i suppose if im being picky then the clouds are a bit of a let down, but thats only really a personal thing, not a fault with the image thats been taken

is it just my slightly wonky vision or could the whole scene do with straightening a bit?

Phwoar that's a sexy panoramic. I'd love to have something like hat in my collection. The far hills look a bit milky but apart from that it's ace.
