Photochop of flower

I've been playing with PS to false colour a purple flower to blue and I quite like the results:

So, what are people's thoughts? The very center of the flower is overexposed in the final result it seems to me but strangly yet it isn't in the RAW file!

Anything I can do to control that?

If the center of the flower is not blown out in the RAW image I can only think a curves, contrast, etc alteration would account for the final image being blown out.
