A Pier for my Peers.

Saltburn-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire (if anyone knows it). A bit nippy and a very grey day. Thanks for comments, critique etc.

Like the way the pier effectively joins the horizon - has good tones to, cant help wondering how much different it would look on a less grey day though

Nice spot that - I've been to the pub just behind that - if I remember rightly (was about 10 years ago now), and that bank is a hell of a climb - even in a car

Boon - just a touch on the colour wheel.

Warspite Yes - the pubs still there (The Ship)

Thanks for the feedback.

Great perspective and symmetry in this Stepheno ! How did you keep the campers at bay at the far end of the pier ... breathing fire at them ?

Like the shot !

Nice shot Stepheno. Everything leads the eye nicely to the people at the end of the pier. Like Warspite said, it would be nicer with a more interesting sky (there's not a lot you could've done about that though).

Well done mate

No problem Wes....I originally hail from Norton and was visiting my Mum so we had a run out down to Saltburn. Thanks for the comment Ribby and Ven - as said the sky was a menace that day.

Great shot and great angle. The sepia tones works well on this shot, it adds more drama... Well done!
