Portrait of a Wife
![]() I submitted this image into the broken competition. What I was trying to do was cause a moment of thought. Was the photo broken deliberately or by accident? Are the hands angry or sad or both? Is the relationship over and if so by death or separation? I have used Photoshop to oversharpen and so make the hands seem older. Also I considered a B W version but preferred colour. Any comments at all will be most welcome. We learn from our mistakes ..... but why does experience come five seconds too late? Geoff TWO |

Re: Portrait of a Wife
Good idea here and well executed. I know you said you tried mono but preferred colour but might I suggest a selective? I think if the hands and table and picture frame were mono but the picture in colour, it could be quite powerful.
But as is I like this a lot, well done. Cheers, Rob |
