No1

If you'd have taken two shots - one exposed for the sky and one for the shadows you could have merged the two via layers in PS et al . A tripod would have been a must though and I know what a drag they can be to carry around. I don't need much excuse to leave mine in the boot.

No2 very nice indeed. Maybe crop a little from the bottom - but it's a close call. Try it in B&W?

No3 is a belter, there's a lot of foreground but you get away with it with the tractor tracks and the increased detail in the foreground grass. I don't honestly see how you couild have framed it any better and it's not an easy shot. Well done.

Was the grass really that green though, the sky that blue?

Pretty much, it was a real sunny day, light wind and fluffy cloud. Auto all in raw shooter and basically that's it.
PS. i did take 2 shots and will try that. Thanks.

The 2 shots don't line up, i shot them in raw and tried processing one for the sky and one for the trees, as suggested in another thread, but still can’t seem to manage getting it much brighter. Thanks anyway.
Ken.

Ken the camera absolutely HAS to be on a tripod with that technique for the shots to line up.
