A Quiet Moment

Taken last week when I was in the Peak District and caught a couple of lovely sunny days

Hovis and Chocca, two of my parents' three spaniels in a rare quiet moment! The small log is very important and the subject of perpetual activity in the constant struggle for pack leadership

Was actually taking shots (rubbish ones as it turns out!) of what I think is a flycatcher - so a bit of a snapshot

One of those shots when I wish I'd spent a little more time thinking about it (maybe pulled back a bit? - this is full frame). And defo should've changed ISO as lens was struggling for light. Any other suggestions?

Re: A Quiet Moment

Very good, on my monitor the picture appears to have a blue cast.
I would like to see it warmed up a bit!

Spaniels, best dogs in the world. I miss my Springer so much.

Re: A Quiet Moment

I like the facial expression on the dog on the left but would prefer the boot (?) not to be there. Having said that if you had tried taking it away the dogs would have probably got up and you'd have lost the shot altogether.

Not as strong as most of your shots Mark but as a snap of the occasion it is definitely a worthwhile one

Cheers,
Rob
