Re: Racing Post
I think the processing is overdone personally, but I can see the appeal. One thing I would suggest though is selectively NR'ing the sky because the processing has left it quite grainy, which doesn't really add to the picture IMO

Nice work with finding the picture though, just a bit much on the editing for my taste. |

Re: Racing Post
Sweet pic!
Much better contrast, definately a printer and a wall hanger! Nice work. |

Re: Racing Post
I actually prefer the PP on the first pic
![]() That said I'm not totally convinced it works for that particular subject. I think it suits more classic landscape / architectural stuff and IIRC you posted a church door recently in a similar style? |

Re: Racing Post
Ok, now take the second one and use Overlay to stack it on the first and we should get the one we want. The second is too smooth and the first too grainy LOL. I'd also like the marker post just a touch to the left or right. No problem with breaking the thirds rule if appropriate but here the entire shot is about the sign because it is so central and I don't think it should be. This image should be about the entire scene, the racetrack, the marker, the fence and the people watching.
But another good image, great to see you keeping on outside of your comfort zone Fi. I told you a hundred times that when you did that you'd start to see just how good you are and now you are seeing it and so are we! Cheers, Rob :o)
