Hey there Mal buddy! Manix still playing GT4???
anyway what settings you got the camera on, the piccy looks compressed to hell! a bit of creative cropping and colour boosting in photoshop can make these much much better, but overall you have got a snapshot that has captured the moment very well! did you find the pot of gold? |

It's always good getting a rainbow in a shot. But unless its a spectacularly large rainbow then they are not that interesting because 9 times out of 10 it will be on a dull overcast day. Although you can't always predict when/where a rainbow will occur, it is always worth trying to get the best background that you can as a rainbow will make an average landscape quite a bit better. It looks here asthough you were in the middle of suburbia and probably chose wisely to cut it out of shot.
If in doubt, shoot wide then you can always crop later, unless you feel confident enough to make the decision then and there! |

Not really a comment on these two pictures directly but having the date/time automatically added onto your pictures is not really a good idea. When viewed on the pc this is distracting from your images but should you later decide to print them out, these pictures will be all but ruined.
Check your camera for a setting that allows you to switch this function off, if you later need to find out the date and time that a picture was taken you can use one of the many software packages to retrieve it as most cameras record it in the EXIF info. Hope that helps a little.
