Re: random picture's
Welcome back
I think all three are very clear sharp images and an excellent set imo. |

Re: random picture's
Do you have your own studio?
Any chance of a schematic for the light positions? |

Re: random picture's
Looking at the pics, i would say to soft boxes either side of camera with the one on the right around 1/2 to 1stop brighter except in pic 5 where left flash is brighter. Or am i way off?
A good Venture style first portrait of the kids. Nice set though, but to be viewed as a set i would remove the B+W, nothing wrong with the image, but there are some obvious differences that don't fit with the set. |

Re: random picture's
Very nice images. Agree that as a set, the BW does't belong. Besides being BW, it is a lot softer than the other pics.
I would love to sit on your shoulder while you are working with models. I could learn a lot! skip |

Re: random picture's
Taking each shot individually I believe that the black and white is by far the strongest.
Everything about it is great and all lines and focus lead you straight to her pin sharp eyes. You have controlled the lighting, shadows, DOF and model with great skill. The tones in the shot are excellent. I think I would have tried a slightly wider fov to get her right shoulder/arm in shot as well though? Your other shots are also very good but some of your editing is beginning to show in places. The right shoulder/hairline in 2 and the boobs on 4 stand out as two of the more obvious spots. Don't take my (small) criticisms to harshly though as this is an excellent set of photos

Re: random picture's
thanks for all the comments.
Steve I did notice that on her shoulder, when i done the PS i forgot to do that. i was going to do it again but time didn't let me. I also agree with you about the B&W picture, its my favourte and one i think was harder to do. Soupdragon yes i do have my own studio, on the first picture i used 2 umbrellas, one on the left for fill, one on the right, my main light 1/2 stop higher then my fill. and i also used one light for the background 1 full stop higher then my main. picture 2 was two soft boxes and umbrella for the background. picture 3 was one octa-boxe high up above her. pictures 4 & 5 were the same as 2. |
