Nice exposure and lighting for the white rose but the whole thing seems out of balance to me. I think I would get rid of the majority of the leaves and enlarge the flower to make it the dominant object. I would also chop the stem before it went out of the bottom of the frame

Yes - I think that the leaves and the stem making a cross divides the frame up too much.
Also the leaves are going out of shot on the LHS. Maybe if the flower was rotated 90 degrees to bring the leaves more to the the centre it would be better. |

I think it looks nice, good exposure, but if you went close up to the head of the rose, it might be better because I don't think any of the stem showing here really works, due to how dark green it is against the black.

A different composition gives a strong diagonal , plus I have boosted levels for stem. Just a different take on shot.
